David G. Smith David G. Smith So, I saw the show twice...loved it. It is amazing. I love SOU theatre and the return of the MainStage has been fantastic. The second performance of Man was filled with b.f.a students,a few of which were in "Dear Brutus". They were out of control,shouting names,thing like "Great Set" when the show started. I am to understand some people left during the intermission because of the audience. The wonderful house manager took care of it at intermissi...on(after a woman complained. During the first act I understand it was a group of first year bra acting students who were basically crazy. One guy was head banging during the "The Streets of Dublin" song(the singer was a first year b.f.a. student),and girls started screaming like they were at the beatles. I have taught theatre for 33 years,love SOU...love the theatre thing. However I wonder if etiquette in theatre is taught or addressed. It is a great show,and deserves an audience who is respectful and understands that being in the audience is a responsibility and not an opportunity to be about the audience.
